Grant MacKenzie Guitarist

Grant MacKenzieGrant MacKenzie, born June 1st 1995, is a guitarist, producer and songwriter, raised in the small town of Coldwater; an hour North of Toronto Canada. Since picking up the guitar at age 12, playing and writing music became an obsession, inevitably leading to a professional career in music.

 Grant’s main genre of music is progressive rock. His style has been strongly influenced by iconic guitarists such as Slash, Steve Vai, John Petrucci (Dream Theatre), The Edge (U2), and Luke Hoskin (Protest The Hero). 

For any young guitarist, gaining support from big names in the industry is crucial for taking their personal brand’s to the next level. In 2015, Grant caught the attention of legendary rock photographer Robert M. Knight. Robert is best known for his photography with legendary bands such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Slash, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai and many, many more.

Grant MacKenzieRobert formed an exclusive club called the “Brotherhood of the Guitar”. This club helps young guitarist make the right connections with other musicians, industry reps, and music companies to help further their careers.
